A local Church is a gathering of a people called out of this world system in order to function under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Life in a local Church was meant to be both fulfilling and fruitful. With a key mandate to glory God and to edify God's people.
Your relationship with Christ is influenced by what you believe to be true. Thoughts lead to belief and belief leads to behaviour. You cannot follow Christ and live contrary. People are attracted by an attractive behaviour.

Once your heart is fixed you don't have to worry about your behaviour. Purpose and motive trump over activities. If there is true life then fake life also exists. Wealth accumulation without kingdom purpose is a fake life. Nothing is ever enough if you are pursuing to only accumulate wealth. True life requires partnership with God. "God never calls people to make them less than they are". Saying yes to the call of God is wisdom. You can never say yes to the call of God on your life and live a mediocre life.

Living God’s way makes life productive and fulfilling.
1) Blessing is the work of God. The foundation of true blessing is made of:divine presence, divine purpose, divine power (Gen. 12:1-3). 2) Divine Blessing gives human life meaning and possibilities. The blessing of God has the capacity to affect drastically: i) what we have, ii) what we know, iii) what we do iv) who we are (Prov. 10:22). 3) There is a way Divine Blessing flows to human life. The blessing of God does not flow randomly; it requires intentionality:
i) Separation - call for detachment, devotion, and dedication (Exod. 19:1-6), ii) Signs (reminders of God’s greatness, glory, and grace) Genesis 18:9-14), iii) Seasons - celebration of opportunities, wisdom, boldness, etc. (1 Chron. 12:32), iv) Sequence - invitation to decision, determination, discipline, and diligence (Prov. 13:11).
Christmas is a celebration of hope. It is a commemoration of God’s special interposition, in Christ Jesus, for the salvation of all human beings. We commemorate by offering to him our praise, prayers, and presents. The Word that was fully God has also become fully man in order to save us perfectly. Hebrews 6:19-20; Matthew 1:20-23; John 1:14; Hebrews 7:22-25
Before Truth came on the human arena Our reality was characterized by: Darkness Danger Despair Distress Ephesians 5:8-13 NLT
When Truth came on the human arena Our reality could now be filled with hope: Darkness is dispelled Restriction is removed Joy is increased Freedom is provided in abundance Lasting peace a permanent reality 2Corinthians 4:6 NLT
Now that Truth has come on the human arena Our reality can be lived from a place of righteousness, peace, and Joy. All we need is to put our trust in Him. Colossians 1:13-15 NLT
MAKE ROOM FOR THE TRUTH
Martin Luther said once: “There’re three noticeable miracles in the nativity; the Word became flesh, a virgin conceived, Mary believed. And the greatest is Mary believed.”
Truth. This self-expression of God; his mind, will, character, capacity, and being as potent as it’s can be beneficial to humanity only if it finds a willing instrument.
The unique significance of the incarnated Truth:
-salvation for all is a real possibility
-a perfect template for reality is finally observable
-society’s landscape can change for better
-new world-order is here to stay
Mary received a divine visitation in Nazareth. One of the most remarkable things about God is his ability to visit unremarkable people in unremarkable places.
Mary became a recipient of:
Mary believed that God could: *empower her beyond her wildest dream.
*make her a great source of blessing for scores of people throughout generations.
Mary made room for the Truth by:
Believing that God can do the impossible.
Yielding to the Holy Spirit to pull it off.
Merging her will into God’s Will.
It’s better to trust in a God who is big enough to respond to our many needs with his great deeds. To look somewhere else for provision and protection is both foolishness and vanity. 1) Great Deeds (Gens. 3:21). Man’s many needs demand for a God who can respond with great deeds. God’s great deeds in response to our many needs are predicated on account of his nature. 2) Great God. His greatness, in contrast to the vanity of idols, is vindicated by: His position and His disposition. He is Great God because of His ability to: a) think b) speak c) see d) hear e) discern f) feel g) act (Exo. 3:7-10). 3) Great Wisdom. Wise people trust in God. Choose to trust in God and enjoy his blessing
Divine Visitations are generally intended to turn a bad situation into a good one. They are often a sovereign act of God in response to the prayers of His people. Wise people turn to God because they realize that human powerlessness can only be effectively fixed by him alone who can transform situations of human helplessness. God is able to do great things for those who choose to trust and obey him - Gen. 21:1-2 & Exo. 3:7-10. What should be our presuppositions: 1) Challenging times have an expiry date. 2) God is sovereign and in control. 3) God is merciful. 4) God is the great cause of all good. What should be our Posture: “When people selfishly satisfy their personal desires at all costs, everyone pays the price”. 1) Shift. “Look away from, Look to (Cradle-love, Cross-mercy, Crown-grace)”. 2) Switch. “Discover things to get rid of, things to do, and things to beware”. 3) Select. “Find a committed minority ones”. 4) Act. “Move with focus and determination”. Psa. 1:1-2 & 121:1-2; 2 Cor. 3:18 & Heb. 12:1-2.

“The unfinished work of the Church is to make sure every person on earth hears about the finished work of the Cross” Louie Giglio. If a church becomes a social movement it faces the danger of self-centred living; rooted in traditionalism, pride, and exclusivity. This kind of church will miss the point as well as her reward. An unhealthy preoccupation with personal possessions and natural affections is the main reason why many reject the gracious invitation of God. People come up with lame excuses when their priority is out of order. There will still be a great banquet with many people in attendance based on three facts: a) What God purpose to do will always prevail. b) There is a category of people who will respond to God’s gracious invitation in honour of a sacrificial preparation; the deficient and the destitute. c)There is an effective method which will produce better results; ANAGKAZO - Persuade. Where there’s a need, God raises a servant. Change their opinion through communion.

Gift-giving, whether for pacification or appreciation purposes, is an ancient practice as old as humanity itself. But what we have never been good at is to understand the motivations and outcomes of this practice.Motivation: 1) Performance - this kind is the cheapest and easiest way to honour your God. The action is normally in response to some action that directly benefits us. 2) Person -this kind is costly as it is based on relationship and principle of honour. The action is in response to the revelation of who God is. 3) Prophetic - prayerful individuals. This kind is often is response to some divine revelation. Mount Moriah had both a rich history and a rich future. Outcomes: 1) Affluence 2) Influence.
